Cano-Raft on the Gave de Pau, Hautes-Pyrénées

Please allow 7 hours in total for this activity.

• Meet the instructor at the Tom Rafting base in Villelongue (15 mins).
• Receive your equipment and use the changing rooms if needed (10 mins).
• Attend a briefing on the activity and safety instructions (15 mins).
• Walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the starting point of the rafting trip.
• Enjoy around 2 hours of cano-rafting on the Gave de Pau with an experienced instructor, alternating between calm moments and more sporting sections with 5 fairly strong class 2 and 3 rapids.
• Take a 1h30 picnic break by the water.
• Continue with a 2-hour rafting or mini-rafting trip on the Gave de Pau.
• Finish the route and return by shuttle to the base at around 4:30 pm, where you can change and take a shower if needed.

You need to be able to swim and be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Parental authorisation is required for minors aged between 12 and 18 taking part in the activity without an accompanying adult.

A minimum of 4 participants is required for the activity to take place.

This activity is open to disabled people depending on the type of disability: please contact us before booking to confirm whether or not you can take part (the instructor will need to organise a specific session for people with reduced mobility).

This activity is not recommended for pregnant women during the first trimester of pregnancy.
