Canyon d'Artigue in Ariège

Set in one of the region's most beautiful mountain settings, this canyon is renowned for its sunshine and fun atmosphere. After a pleasant 40-minute approach walk through the high valley pastures, you'll reach the start of the descent. For almost 4 hours, you'll enjoy a spectacular setting, with a series of abseils, natural slides, white-water swimming, zip-lines and jumps of up to 12 metres for the most daring. The abseils can be bypassed, making the activity accessible even to beginners.

Supervised by an experienced and friendly instructor, you'll enjoy the safety and conviviality of a small group. There's a picnic break along the way to replenish your strength before continuing the adventure. The shorter return walk takes you gently back to the starting point through the blueberry bushes.
