Stephane created Vertikarst after a long experience as an instructor, organizing expeditions, or training guides on security and technique... It was about time!

You can go with him on some of his favorite activities: speleology, canyoning and climbing. This caving enthusiast -and member of the French Federation of Speleology since 1992- particularly appreciates being able to share his experience and his knowledge in underground labyrinths where exploration, discovery and conviviality make the most of the activity.

Stephane considers canyoning as a logical development after caving as you are always in contact with water and rock. He's been practicing for 20 years and he loves it so much that you'll certainly feel the good vibes too!

Vertikarst organizes activities in Ariege, most precisely in Auzat, between Tarascon-sur-Ariège and the summit of Montcalm. You can explore the canyons of the valley, the caves near Tarascon or those in the forest of Bélesta, near Lavelanet, around Saint-Girons...

Eine tolle Frau war unser Guide. Kompetent, freundlich, unterhaltend. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt, bei schwierigen Passagen wurden wir nicht gedrängt.
