Artigue Gorge in Ariège

After a pleasant 40-minute approach walk through the mountain pastures of the high valleys, you’ll reach the start of the descent. For nearly 4 hours, you’ll make your way through spectacular scenery, tackling a series of abseils, natural slides, white-water swimming, zip lines and jumps of up to 12 metres for the more daring. The abseils can be bypassed, making the activity accessible even to beginners.

Supervised by an experienced and friendly guide, you’ll enjoy the benefits of a small group for greater safety and a more sociable atmosphere. A picnic break is planned partway through the walk to recharge your batteries before continuing the adventure. The return walk, which is shorter, takes you gently back to the starting point through the blueberry bushes.
