Snowshoeing excursion in the Ariege Pyrenees near Foix

This Nordic escape has the particularity of taking you to a magnificent mountain cirque and beautiful rocky bars in winter. You may also have the chance to meet an izard in the snow.

At the bottom of this ancient glacial valley, your guide will explain the snow cover conditions and more particularly the phenomenon of avalanches. Depending on the weather conditions and access to the sites, you will visit either Cirque d'Anglade, Cirque de l'Ours or Cirque Andorran.

Depending on the location, an introduction to the avalanche kit is organized in the morning.

Go at night to discover the snowy areas during a snowshoe hike! Let yourself be guided in the moonlight. In a friendly atmosphere between forests and pastures, discover the winter constellations. Hot drinks are offered during the hike.

During this excursion, ideal for sharing good family moments, you will discover the constellations and the night wildlife.
