4 hour descent of higher Ecouges Canyon, inclusive of 13 rappels and descent a 60 metre waterfall at the end.

Course of events
Please allow 4.5 hours in total for this activity
- Meet your guide at the designated meeting point in the Écouges 2 car park
- Short drive by car to the upper Écouges car park (10 minutes)
- Equipment fitting and safety briefing (10 minutes)
- Canyon descent lasting 4 hours
- 5-minute walk back to the car park
- Equipment removal and end of activity (5 minutes)

Activity requirements
Prior canyoning and abseiling experience is required to take part in this activity.
Participants must be able to swim, be comfortable with heights and water, and be in good physical condition.
Parental consent is required for minors participating in the activity without an accompanying adult.

This activity is not suitable for pregnant women, people with disabilities, senior participants, or anyone with back or heart conditions, or who has undergone recent surgery.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the activity.

About the activity
The upper section of the Écouges canyon is reserved for those who are physically fit and confident abseilers. It is also the most technical — and therefore the most demanding — part of the canyon. The route features 13 abseil descents in total, building up to the undisputed highlight of the excursion: a breathtaking 60-metre abseil down a magnificent waterfall that will bring your adventure to an unforgettable close. In this stunning, steep-sided canyon near Grenoble, you'll push your limits and experience canyoning like never before!
To kick things off, you'll be fitted with high-quality safety equipment and wetsuits, and given a full safety briefing. Your instructors will be on hand to support and guide you through the Écouges canyon, as well as to share their knowledge of the flora and fauna of this remarkable place. You'll find yourself surrounded by impressive limestone formations, with sweeping views across the entire valley!
