Course of events
Day 1: Furon canyon (6 hours of activity)
- Meet your guide in Sassenage.
- 30 minute presentation of your 2-day canyoning course.
- Activity briefing and equipment distribution (10 minutes).
- Approach walk (30 minutes).
- Descent of the Furon bas canyon (3hrs): a fun and varied course with abseils of up to 10 metres, jumps (not compulsory) and natural slides.
- Return walk (10 minutes).
- Picnic break (1hr).
- Upper section of the Furon (3h): a particularly beautiful and watery gorge. It complements the lower section and offers abseiling, a zip line, jumps and slides.
- Return walk (45 minutes).
Day 2: Ecouges 2 canyon (4 to 5 hours of activity)
- The descent of this canyon can be done on a full or half-day basis, depending on what you feel like doing and how tired you are from the day before.
- Approach walk (5 minutes).
- The route includes two abseiling descents, one of which is 25 metres long, followed by a second, more fun section with a number of jumps, slides and a final abseil down a 10-metre waterfall.
- Return walk (20 minutes).
Objectives
Learn to abseil independently, jump down a natural slide, have fun and enjoy yourself in safety!
Activity requirements
You need to be able to swim and be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.
What's more, you must not be afraid of water or of heights.
A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.

The first day is devoted to the Furon canyon in its entirety, with short abseils of up to 10 metres, optional jumps, and natural water slides. You'll then continue your canyoning course near Grenoble with an exploration of the Écouges canyon, either for a full day or a half day depending on how you're feeling. This route features two abseil descents — one of which is 25 metres — followed by a more playful second section with numerous jumps, water slides, and a final abseil down a 10-metre waterfall.
