Go on an adventure alone in your airboat on the Giffre river to fill up with adrenaline in Haute-Savoie !
If you're looking for a refreshing outdoor activity around Samoëns, this airboat trip down the Giffre River should please you! Also known as a kayak raft, an airboat is an inflatable boat designed for one person, just like a kayak. And even if you are alone in the airboat, with a certified Nunayak guide following you in his own airboat, that doesn't mean it's easier! On the contrary, a good physical condition is necessary to practice this sporty whitewater activity.
You will leave on the Giffre River from the Nunayak base in Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, after being equipped and briefed on the activity and safety instructions. Then, depending on the course you choose, you will run the rapids of the Giffre for two to three hours at the intensity of your choice. Beginners are invited to take the "discovery" course, provided they have previous experience in white water such as rafting.

Activity requirements
You must be able to swim and be in good health to go airboating.
A first experience in white water is also required.
If the instructor considers that you are not sporty enough, he can redirect you to rafting (subject to availability).
