Practical information
- Meet at the Moncanyon club headquarters in Saint-Claude, 10 minutes before the start time.
- Welcome by your qualified guide, safety briefing and presentation of the route.
- Full equipment provided: neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness, canyoning bag and waterproof canteen.
- Walk to the nearby entrance to the canyon.
- Start of the route in the Vauchelet canyon on the Rivière Noire.
- A series of abseiling descents, natural slides and jumps (optional).
- Passing an ejector slide and a split abseil, supervised by the guide.
- Progress through a tropical and mineral setting over a period of 3 to 4 hours.
- Depending on the pace of the group, we take short breaks to drink, regain our strength and enjoy the scenery.
- End of the route and return on foot to the starting point.
- De-equipping, exchange time and possible recovery of photos.
- Estimated to finish around 4 hours after reception.

Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult.
You need to be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.

You will evolve in a magnificent natural environment, in one of the most beautiful rivers of Guadeloupe in Basse Terre, the Black River Vauchelet, located a few minutes from the Bains Jaunes. The Vauchelet waterfalls, on the Black River, offer all the facets of the activity: jump, ejectable slide, abseiling, all the elements for a successful outing. More than a simple canyoning descent, your excursion with them will be a convivial moment in nature, a way to get to know the Black River better in a good mood!
Accessible from 16 years old, and requiring a good physical condition, this activity will delight outdoor enthusiasts.
