Admire one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Mauritius on this hike to the Leon waterfall from Surinam, just outside Souillac!
Starting in the sugar cane fields to the north of Surinam and Souillac, this hike to the Leon waterfall will take you deep into the Mauritian countryside to discover this little natural jewel alongside a local guide. The guide, who is passionate about the flora and fauna of Mauritius, will be delighted to introduce you to them throughout the outing!
This hike to the Leon waterfall from Surinam will take you first to the Cecile waterfall, an astonishing stone dam in front of which your guide can take your photo. A few metres further on, you will reach the Leon waterfall, the final destination of your trip, where you can even take a refreshing swim! This waterfall offers a superb, relaxing setting, with a little recess just behind its falls that has all the makings of a secret place.

- Meeting with the guide at the meeting point in Surinam, several metres before the Rochester cascade
- Briefing on the route of the hike and safety instructions
