Beginners will be able to enjoy the adventure at a walk, their mounts held in a tether, while the more experienced will be able to trot and/or even canter at the instructor's discretion. You will also be given horses suited to your level, so you can enjoy an outing that is just right for you, in complete safety and under the expert guidance of qualified, enthusiastic instructors! Children aged 3 and above will ride ponies, while older children and adults will ride retired English thoroughbred racehorses.
The Riambel equestrian centre is just a 10-minute drive from the centre of Souillac, the capital of the Savanne district. In all, a 1-hour horseback ride on Riambel Beach awaits you, as well as around 15 minutes of bareback swimming, so you can take full advantage of the magnificent setting of this wild spot in the south of Mauritius!
