Explore the Arctic wilderness of Norway on this fun-filled, beginner snowmobile safari in Moen, departing from Tromsø! This fun-filled excursion includes transfers, lunch, and an expert instructor. If you've always wanted to try snowmobiling, this is the perfect opportunity! Welcoming ages 6 and up.
Just a 2-hour drive from Tromsø, Moen is located in the Målselv municipality of Northern Norway. This area is known for its pristine landscapes, including mountains, forests, rivers, and numerous lakes. As such, Moen is ideal for a variety of winter outdoor activities, especially snowmobiling!
Your adventure begins in Tromsø, where you and your group (a maximum of 16 participants) will be picked up at the meeting point. Then, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery during the 2-hour drive to Moen. Upon your arrival, you will put on your winter gear (thermal overalls and boots) and receive a safety briefing as well as an introduction to snowmobiling from your experienced instructor. Please note that all children either ride on the guide's snowmobile or are pulled in a sled.
With your helmet on, the fun starts! You'll set out into the Arctic wilderness and feel an instant adrenaline rush. Traversing the picturesque winter wonderland, you'll enjoy the stunning views as you go. Halfway through the excursion, you will stop for a break. This is an excellent opportunity to take photos. In addition, all passengers 18 years old and up with valid driver's licenses may switch places at this time and take a turn driving.
Once you've returned to the Aurora Husky base, you'll be treated to a delicious reindeer stew lunch. Vegetarian options are also available, please specify when booking. After an amazing time in the Arctic wilderness, you'll return to Tromsø with memories that will last a lifetime!

Activity requirements
Please note that all snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and be in possession of a valid and physical copy of their driver's license.
In addition, this excursion includes 2 people per snowmobile.
Small children will either ride on the back of the instructor's snowmobile or be seated in a sled.
