A rafting adventure on the Marsouins River which is a bit more challenging, adapted to thrill seekers who are not afraid to end up in the water during the 2 to 2.5 hours spent on the river.
Course of events
- Welcome at the Rafting Réunion base at îlet Coco
- Fitting out with safety equipment (wetsuit, life jacket and helmet)
- Transport of rafting equipment by 4x4 to the launch point (20-minute approach walk for the group of participants)
- Launch of the rafts in the river and departure for a 2 to 2.5-hour white water rafting trip on the Marsouins River
- Return to the base, de-equipment and end of the activity with an aperitif
Activity requirements
All participants must know how to swim at least 25 metres and be able to immerse themselves to take part in this activity.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Special terms
This activity is not recommended for pregnant people.
Depending on the weather conditions and the water levels of the river, the team may have to replace the rafts with canoe rafts in order to allow you to make the most of the trip.

The Marsouins River, which runs through the commune of Saint-Benoît and the Takamaka Valley, offers a thrilling rafting experience in Reunion Island thanks to its tumultuous rapids, which you will cross safely aboard your raft.
