The enchanting city of Bergen is transformed into a magical winter wonderland during the snow season, offering some stunning views over the white-washed mountains, snow covered terrains, and astonishing fjords. This tour will allow you to experience the remoteness of the area on snowshoes, and immerse yourself in the pristine Norwegian nature.
Upon arrival at the Bergen Tourist Information, you will meet your instructor and your group (a maximum of 10 participants) and follow a safety briefing before setting out on your snowshoe adventure. Your instructor will choose the best spots according to the snow conditions, to ensure you will follow the best optimal trails to see the magical winter scenery. For a more exclusive experience, you can opt for a private tour.
Hiking with snowshoes requires no prior experience, only the ability to walk normally in slightly uneven terrain. Along the way, your expert guide will share some fascinating cultural and historical stories and insights about Bergen and Norway. You will also make a stop for a well-deserved break, with refreshments and hot drinks to restore your energy.
Then, you will make your way back to the original starting point. Marvel at the astonishing views of the fjords, and unspoiled nature as your guide leads the way back to the city. Don't forget your camera to capture the beautiful scenery!
