This stunning national park located on southern Portugal's coast features a lot of spectacular coastlines such as Praia Da Galápos, Praia do Albarquel, Praia Dos Coelhos that are famous for their incredible natural beauty, with clear water and dramatic striking natural landscapes.

Coasteering in Arrábida Natural Park is ideal for beginners and groups, due to its diverse and easily reachable coastline. The area offers a combination of sea caves, rocky passages, and cliff-jumping spots, making it one of the top spots in Portugal for coastal adventure activities. The terrain here is generally wilder and more rugged than in Sesimbra, with higher cliffs and more technical sections, making it especially suited for those looking for a more challenging coasteering experience.

Located on the edge of the Parque Natural da Arrábida, Sesimbra serves as a primary access point for coasteering in Portugal. From within the park, Sesimbra can be reached by taking local roads that follow the coastline, such as the N379. Depending on your starting point, the drive usually takes 15–30 minutes, offering stunning views of cliffs and the Atlantic coast along the way. The area is renowned for its natural beauty, featuring remarkable coastal landscapes such as the famous Zambujal Cave and a variety of beaches.

Nearby spots such as Praia do Meco, Praia das Bicas, Praia do Moinho de Baixo, Praia da Lagoa de Albufeira, Praia da Califórnia, and Praia do Ouro offer diverse environments for exploration. Unlike Arrábida’s more technical routes, Coasteering in Sesimbra offers varied terrains, and multiple accessible routes, making it ideal for all levels of coasteerers and perfect for those seeking an adventurous yet more approachable experience.
