New invention for Fred Compagnon: a revolutionary surf foil!

What, you don't know Fred Compagnon? Let us refresh your memory, and introduce you to this Geo Trouvetou of board sports... Pure waterman, at ease in a tube on a drop-knee bodyboard, in surfing or in stand up paddle, this Landais is a true lover of the sea. A modern-day genius who was honoured, at the beginning of March, by the famous TV programme "Thalassa"... That just goes to show the dimension of this character, who likes to travel the globe with his family and immortalise his trips, much to the delight of Internet users. When he is not riding, this artist likes to invent new supports and materials, such as the nose for bodyboarding, the pole to film through the wave, the manual brake for the alaia, a wooden board without fins, or the autotao, a new kind of surfboard.

Fred Compagnon, who recently presented his snow bodyboard on Facebook, is (already) back with a new invention straight out of his imagination: the hyper-minimalist surf foil!

Powered by a stand up paddle board with a slot in the middle, this foil surfboard hardly leans on any board, making it clearly unique in its kind... A picture is worth a thousand words, here is the machine! Hats off to the artist...
