Understanding the Manawa back office: the essential guide

1. Overview: Dashboard

  • This is your daily entry point for managing your business.
  • Immediate Overview: Find your pending reservations, your latest reviews, and the status of your products (online or offline).
  • The "View" Reflex: Click the "View" button to see your activity page exactly as a customer would. This is ideal for checking the appearance of your photos and descriptions.

2. Booking management: Bookings & Calendar

This is where you manage your customer flow and transactions.

  • Customer Info: Access contact details (email, phone) as well as specific information (weight, languages spoken, etc.).
  • Accounting Tip: Use the "Download CSV" button to export your database into Excel format, which is very practical for your accounting at the end of the season.
  • Simplified Refunds: In case of cancellation (weather, etc.), the "Refund the Customer" button allows for an immediate full refund. For a partial refund, contact [email protected].

3. Season preparation and optimisation: Activities

This is the engine of your Manawa shop. Each activity can have several options (e.g., 2h lesson, half-day, 3-day course).

Important note: If you use a booking software connected via API, your prices and availabilities are sent directly by your software. In this case, only the "Special offers" (promotions) section is relevant to you to boost your sales specifically on Manawa.

  • Settings (Seasons & Prices) :
    • Open early: Offer flexibility to customers by opening your slots well in advance to facilitate the organization of their stays.
    • Fixed vs. variable price: Use the "Variable" price per person (e.g., €65/pers) or the "Fixed" price for a private group (e.g., €500 for 1 to 6 pers).
    • Rate parity: Crucial reminder: you must always offer the same rates on Manawa as you do directly.
  • Day-to-day management (Manage closures and stock) :
    • Manage Your Availability: You can close a period, block a specific date, or manually limit a slot.
    • Marketing Trick: If you limit a slot to fewer than 5 places, an orange "Limited Availability" badge appears on the site, which boosts urgency and conversion.
  • Special offers :
    • Don't Suffer Through Off-Peak Days! Schedule promos (e.g., -10% on Mondays) at least 4 to 5 days in advance. The sooner, the better to guarantee maximum impact on your occupancy.

4. To consult: Reviews & Invoices

  • Reviews : Keep an eye on your customer reviews. Transparency is key: customers increasingly consult your feedback to verify your reliability.
  • Invoices: Find the history of all your archived invoices, ready to be downloaded.

5. Increase your visibility: New activities & Partner page

  • Add your activities: Use this dedicated tab to submit new activities to us and enrich your catalog on Manawa.
  • Public profile (Your Partner Page) : This is where you make a difference! Use this form to help us highlight your company, your team, your logistics (recent equipment, changing rooms, etc.), and your labels. This is the opportunity to show customers why you are the best in your field.

6. Updating Administrative Documents

Admin & Payments: If you have changes to make regarding your administrative documents, you can submit them via this form.

Don't worry if this tab is empty! For security reasons, we do not store your bank details in this back-office. We archive them internally. If in doubt, a quick email to [email protected] and we will confirm everything is okay.
