CORSICA CANYON

Corsica Canyon is a multi-activity centre founded in 1985 in Bavella, in Southern Corsica. The centre is located near Solenzara and the village of Zonza, in the heart of a rugged, mountainous landscape, and is equipped with toilets, changing rooms and a pay-and-display car park. Participants explore the granite massifs and turquoise pools characteristic of the area, surrounded by Laricciu pines. The excursions focus on four major canyons, each with its own distinct character: the Pulischellu Canyon, which resembles a natural water park with its jumps and slides; the Purcaraccia Canyon, the most beautiful canyon in Corsica; the Vacca Canyon, the most challenging; and the Fiumicelli Canyon, perfect for children and those new to canyoning. These routes are ideal for both families and groups of friends wishing to explore the landscapes of the GR20 and the Aiguilles de Bavella. The canyoning centre welcomes visitors for safe sessions, accessible depending on location, approximately 1 hour from Porto-Vecchio or 2.5 hours from Bastia. Trained staff provide a safety briefing before each trip to ensure a worry-free experience in all seasons.
