Whale Watching Cruise on the St. Lawrence from Baie-Sainte-Catherine near Charlevoix

Please allow 4 hours in total for this activity.

• Arrive at the departure point in Baie-Sainte-Catherine for check-in and boarding preparation at least 1 hour before departure.
• Board the vessel, with embarkation beginning approximately 30 minutes before departure time.
• Receive a welcome from the crew and attend a briefing covering safety procedures and onboard facilities.
• Set off on a 3-hour cruise through the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park in search of up to 13 whale species.
• Listen to live educational commentary provided by certified naturalist guides while observing marine mammals and the dramatic fjord landscapes.
• Sail back to the departure pier in Baie-Sainte-Catherine, collect belongings and disembark to conclude the activity.

Please arrive 1 hour before the meeting time in order to have time to check in and get settled on the boat.

Boarding will start approximately 30 minutes before departure time.

Whale Guarantee: the sighting rate is extremely high. However, as the marine park is a natural environment, sometimes the mammals can be more elusive. No worries! If no sightings are made, Croisière AML will offer you another whale watching boat tour.

Cruises operate rain or shine unless weather conditions pose a safety risk to passengers. Rest assured, the boat features an enclosed area for your comfort.

For personal expenses, only credit card payments are accepted on board (cash not available).

We recommend that you dress warmly even in summer, as the temperature on the water can get cooler than on land.

To ensure your safety and in accordance with Transport Canada standards, departure times may be adjusted if weather conditions or mechanical issues arise.

Pets are not allowed on board (except assistance dogs).

This activity is not suitable for wheelchair users.
