Winter Zip Line on Mont-Catherine in the Laurentians

Please allow a total of 2.5 hours for this experience.

• Arrive on-site 30 minutes before the activity starts (toilets and a water point are available on-site).
• Meet the team.
• Departure instructions (safety, route, etc.).
• Safety briefing and equipment fitting (harness and helmet).
• Start a 1.3 km hike through Mont Catherine’s forest with your guide.
• Break by the fire inside the Tipi (only during the coldest days).
• Enjoy two mega zip lines over 100 metres above the ground, crossing the entire mountain from one side to the other. A guide will be present at both the start and the finish.
• Finish with a short 100-metre hike back to the starting point with your guide.

You must arrive at Tyroparc 30 minutes before the start of your activity to receive the necessary equipment and safety instructions from your guide.

For the zip line, the maximum weight is 120kgs (264lbs). The maximum waist circumference is 132cm (52 inches).

Please note that you will be descending the mega zip lines alone. However, depending on wind conditions and your size, a tandem descent may be possible (or even compulsory) if deemed safe by the guides.

Rucksacks are not recommended, but if you need to use one to carry a bottle of water or other items, please take a small bag.

Anyone requiring medication must have it with them throughout the activity.

This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.

The duration of this activity may vary according to weather conditions, the number of participants and the skills of each individual.

In low season, a minimum of 6 participants is required for an activity to take place.
