Discover the Mont-Catherine mega zip line course and experience a sporting adventure in the heart of the Laurentians!

The zip line descent is a fun and ideal moment to feel the sensation of speed from the air! Generally this moment is quite short, so for those who don't want to stop, the zip line is also possible on a course! Get ready to link the mega zip lines for maximum fun and thrills!

Tyroparc invites you to discover an incredible activity combining hiking and mega zip line course at Mont-Catherine, in the Laurentians. You will start with a superb hike in a maple grove near Mont-Catherine leading you to the mega zip line course. At the top, you can descend 4 mega zip lines, or depending on the option you choose, 2 mega zip lines.

If you choose the course with 4 mega zip lines "the classic", you will start with a zip line of 610 meters to reach the other side of the mountain, then a second zip line of 450 meters that will take you to the foot of Cap Beauséjour. You can enjoy a short walk in the forest of 450 meters to recover from your emotions and join the longest zip line of the course: 900 meters of sliding on 115 meters high to cross the whole mountain by the air! To finish, you will enjoy a last zip line of 650 meters which will drop you at the base of the Tyroparc in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts!

If you choose the "express" course, you will only descend the first two zip lines.

For the zip lines, the maximum weight is 120kgs (264lbs). The maximum waist size is 132cm (52 inches).

Special terms

Backpacks are not recommended, but if you need to use one to carry a water bottle or other items, please take a small bag.

For this activity, pregnant women are not accepted for safety reasons.

A minimum number of participants is required for a departure to take place.

The participant must be able to wear the harness securely. Note that participants are going down the mega zip lines one at the time, however, depending on the wind conditions and the size of the participants, a tandem may be possible (even mandatory) if deemed safe by our guides.
