Reindeer Sleigh Ride from Rovaniemi

You should plan to spend around 3.5 hours on this activity:

• Pick-up at your accommodations within a 10-kilometre radius of the Rovaniemi city centre
• Drive to the meeting point
• Winter gear distribution and set-up
• Transportation to the reindeer farm
• Learn about reindeer herding, the native species of reindeer, and life in the Arctic
• 2 to 3-kilometre (40-minute) reindeer sleigh ride
• Return to the base camp
• Share snacks and drinks by the fire with your instructor and learn about the reindeer herding tradition
• Return to the original meeting point
• Equipment return
• Drop-off at your accommodations and end of the activity

Please be ready to be picked up or arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before your departure time.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

A minimum of 4 participants is necessary to run this activity. If this requirement is not fulfilled, your instructor will try to reschedule your activity or provide a full refund.

This activity takes place mainly in English, but if you need a different language, your instructor can arrange an experience in Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Czech, Slovak, Polish, Ukrainian, Macedonian & Finnish. Please reserve in advance, because there is limited availability for different languages.

Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity depend on weather conditions. Due to unforeseen meteorological occurrences, your itinerary might be shorter or take a different path than usual for your safety. The reindeer sleigh ride is only available in snowy conditions.
