Enjoy Lapland's beautiful winter landscape by snowmobile and meet the region's legendary reindeer in Rovaniemi. Welcoming adventurers of all ages on this family-friendly excursion!
This adventure takes place in Rovaniemi, the capital city of Lapland. Located in the north of Finland and close to the Arctic Circle, Rovaniemi experiences Arctic conditions in the winter, with snowy forests and vast untouched wilderness. During this 3-hour experience, you'll not only discover Finland's beautiful winter wonderland, but you'll also learn about Lapland and its cultural roots, which are intertwined with its famous reindeer!
You'll start by meeting your guide in Rovaniemi, with pickups available from specified locations upon booking. After being transported to the snowmobile departure point, you'll be given a safety and instructional introduction to snowmobiling. Only snowmobiles that are locally produced are used, which include BRP Lynx Rave and Xtrim models. These brands are extremely comfortable to drive as well as being environmentally friendly. Snowmobiles will be driven in pairs, with one driver and one passenger and the opportunity to switch halfway. All ages are welcome on this family-friendly adventure, children will sit in a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile.
Once you've put on the provided winter and snowmobiling gear, the adventure begins! You'll head out into the winter landscape via snowmobile towards a reindeer farm. Along the way, you'll pass trees laden down with white snow and beautiful icicles. When you arrive at the reindeer farm, you'll be greeted by the reindeer herder and meet the majestic reindeer. Then, you will experience a short reindeer sled ride, a fun traditional activity in Lapland! When you return to the farm, the herder will share stories about reindeer herding and the traditional way of life in Lapland. The guide will then transport you back to Rovaniemi.

- Drive to the starting point
- Safety briefing, driving lesson and receive equipment
- The snowmobile adventure begins!
- Drive your snowmobile to the reindeer farm
- Meet the reindeer and set up the sled
- Short reindeer sled ride (approximately 500-700m)
- Return to the farm
- Transfer back to Rovaniemi
