Course of events
Please allow 2 hours on site for the entire experience.
- Welcome and check-in at the meeting point, 10 minutes before the activity starts
- Gear distribution and fitting of thermal overalls, gloves, and spiked snowshoes (15 minutes)
- Guided snowshoe exploration through the Arctic Circle Forest directly from the center (45 minutes)
- Forest trail break with hot berry juice and lactose-free cookies (5 minutes)
- Continued snowshoe walk observing forest scenery and local animal tracks (40 minutes)
- Return to the Safari Center, gear return, and end of the activity
