With your professional guide, you will walk through old forests, along frozen rivers or lakes, or up to a hilltop, looking for wildlife and steps left in the snow. You may have the chance of passing tracks made by wolves, lynx, wolverines, moose, reindeer or Arctic hare. As you explore the white scenery, you will certainly feel the peaceful harmony of Lapland. Your guide will always keep an eye on wildlife and flora and will teach you more about nature and your surroundings.

Midway through, hot drinks and a typical Finnish barbecue snack will be served, as your guide builds a warm campfire. This is a great opportunity for your guide to show you how to build a fire as a native does. No need for matches or a lighter, your guide will use flint, steel and natural materials to start the fire. As you sit around the open fire, your guide will share information about Lapland and life in the Arctic. You will then return to the starting point before heading back to your original pick-up location.
