After spending time with the huskies, you will head inside a traditional Sámi-style gamme, where you will warm up around the open fire and enjoy a hearty Arctic stew. Your guide will introduce you to the Northern Lights, explaining the science behind the phenomenon as well as some of the stories, myths and beliefs that have surrounded the Aurora Borealis for generations.

Once dinner is finished, you will head back outside into the darkness surrounding Gargia Lodge to look up at the Arctic sky and enjoy the opportunity to see the Northern Lights if conditions allow. After your evening in the wilderness, you will return to Alta, bringing your Arctic adventure to an end.
