Activity description

Lofoten offers arguably the most beautiful fjord landscapes in all of Norway.

Take a front-row seat to enjoy the incredible nature in this region while cruising the length of Lofoten by catamaran. Experience everything the archipelago of Lofoten has to offer. From the wildlife and aquaculture to the local villages and towering mountains. It is all there waiting for you!

We sail from Svolvær at 09:00 and will stop at Henningsvær, Balstad, Nusfjord, Reine and Å. We will follow the same route back and will port in Svolvær at 17.30. Sail all of Lofoten in one day or hop off and enjoy more intimate experiences in these hidden gems of Lofoten. We sail the same route back each afternoon, so you can jump back on the same day or next day if you prefer. The choice is yours!

Besides admiring the breathtaking surroundings, you will be introduced to the local history and culture of Lofoten by our knowledgeable English-speaking guide and host, as well as to short documentaries and presentations about the region, wildlife and local culture.

Highlights By Stop

Henningsvær
Adventure seekers can take a beautiful kayaking tour around the harbor of Henningsvær and around the surrounding small islands. Alternatively, take a sea eagle safari in Trollfjord by rib boat and learn more about these majestic creatures.

For those looking for a dose of culture, stop by KaviarFactory and Galleri Lofoten to view both contemporary art and paintings dating back to the turn of the last century. Join the Full Steam museum and restaurant experience about the history and culture of codfish in Lofoten. Find out why codfish is so famous in Norway while tasting some delicacies.

Ballstad
If you don’t mind getting a bit wet, how about a spot of snorkeling or diving? You can see immense kelp forests, sea urchins, starfish and crabs amongst other things. For the fishing enthusiasts, spearfishing here is a must-try. If you are lucky you might nab yourself a big halibut. If you work up an appetite after that, Himmel og Havn restaurant is a must-try for high-quality Norwegian cuisine.

Nusfjord
Lofoten gets more beautiful the further south you head and in Nusfjord it really starts to heat up. Nusfjord Arctic Resort is nestled amongst a group of towering mountains. A walk through this incredible mountain range is enough to make your jaw drop. Once you are done admiring the view, the Arctic Resort has every activity you could think of covered.

Reine
Reinebringen is the most popular hike in the whole of Lofoten islands, standing 500m above sea level. It offers a dazzling view over the fishing villages of Reine, Sakrisøy and Hamnøy. As with most of Lofoten, there are plenty of water sports to choose from.

Why not stay the night here in a modern cabin overlooking the breathtaking waterfront?

Å
Visit the southernmost village of Lofoten. The village bakery, with its stone ovens, dating back more than a century, is famous for its cinnamon buns. Take in the stunning landscapes of this region one last time before enjoying the ride back to Svolvær.

So choose where you want to go and hop on our beautiful ship!
