Course of events
Please allow 5 hours on site for the entire experience.
- Pick-up from designated Kiruna locations (see special terms) and transfer to the trail base
- Distribution and fitting of cross-country ski equipment (skis, poles, boots) and optional covering clothes
- Safety briefing and introduction to basic cross-country skiing techniques by the guide
- Guided cross-country ski tour through arctic forest trails adapted to participants' skill levels
- Rest stop in the forest to enjoy a warm cup of tea and learn about arctic nature
- Return cross-country ski journey along scenic tracks back to the trail base
- Equipment return and debriefing with the guide
- Return transfer to the original pick-up point in Kiruna
Activity requirements
A minimum number of 2 adult participants is required to run this activity.
Participants borrowing ski equipment are responsible for keeping it safe and will pay a repair fee for damaged or lost skis, ski poles, or ski boots.
If you are allergic, please let us know at booking.
Parents may be asked to show their child's birth certificate.
