Montsec Activa is an active tourism company founded in 2005 in Àger (Lleida), Catalonia, with more than 20 years of experience. From its nautical base in Corçà, on the Canelles reservoir, it offers kayak excursions, hikes, combined kayak and hiking trips and boat trips through the Mont-Rebei Gorge (Congost de Mont-rebei) and along the Muralla de Finestres, in the Montsec range. The activities available on Manawa are self-guided: you set off in a single, double or family kayak after an explanation of the technique, the safety rules and the route, with a map and a life jacket provided. The kayak route is easy to follow and the hiking trails are signposted. Registered with the Generalitat de Catalunya as an organiser of outdoor sports activities (no. C 179) and a member of the Catalan Canoeing Federation, the company has a team of 3 canoeing sports technicians and inland passenger boat skippers. Visitors are welcomed in Catalan, Spanish and English.

Very professional, we got the material quite quickly and were positively surprised they provided waterproof bags too. We got a good intro to kayaking really going into detail about the area and how to best do the tour.
