Course of events
Please allow about 1.5 hours for the whole experience.
- Meeting with the team at Au Chalet en Bois Rond's "Pavillon de l'Espace Plein Air" at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity (toilets available on site)
- Briefing on the activity, safety instructions and how to drive the sled (about 10 minutes)
- Dog harnessing
- Depart for a 45-minute to 1-hour dog sled ride along the trails at Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne, including a break to take a photo of you with your team of 3 to 6 dogs
- Back at the base, you will have time to pet the dogs to congratulate them before debriefing of the activity over hot chocolate (10 to 15 minutes)
- If there are puppies in the kennels, meeting with them and cuddle time to end the activity
Activity requirements
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Maximum weight per sled: 400 lbs / 180 kg
- Minimum age to drive the sled: 16 years old
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure time.
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity as a sled driver.
