About the activity
Quatre Natures invites you to discover snowshoe skiing in Parc national Jacques-Cartier, also known as ski-hok. This new sport created in Quebec combines the advantages of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, and is perfect for exploring Quebec's snowy trails in an original way.
From Old Quebec, you'll be driven to Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. Once there, your instructor will introduce you to the ski-hok, explain how to get around and help you get kitted out. You'll then start with an initiation on the trails to get used to this new sport before stopping for a picnic. You'll then head off-piste to discover one of Quebec's most famous national parks and all the advantages of snowshoe skiing in Quebec, both uphill and downhill in powder snow.
During your snowshoe-ski hike in Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, you'll enjoy incredible forest scenery and, with a bit of luck, catch a glimpse of the local wildlife (moose, white-tailed deer, chickadee, jay, fox, hare). Throughout the hike, your guide will be on hand to share his tips on snowshoe skiing and his knowledge of the region.
Don't miss out on an incredible day of snowshoe skiing in Parc national de Jacques-Cartier! With the shuttle service included, all you have to do is pack a warm outfit and the Quatre Natures team will take care of the rest!
