Explore the Arctic wilderness of Finland, Norway, and Sweden on this fun-filled, 3-hour snowmobile Safari from Kilpisjärvi in Enontekiö. All levels of experience are welcome!
Located in Northern Finland (Finnish Lapland), Kilpisjärvi is situated in the municipality of Enontekiö, bordering both Sweden and Norway. It is known for its remote location and pristine natural surroundings of lakes, fells, and forests. What better way to discover the "most peaceful border in the world" than on a guided snowmobile excursion?
Once you've been picked up from one of the listed meeting points in Kilpisjärvi (please specify when booking), your adventure begins! You'll arrive at the Kilpissafarit base and be greeted by your experienced instructor. With your winter gear on (thermal overalls, boots, wool socks, mittens, and balaclava), you'll receive a safety briefing, followed by an introduction to snowmobiling. Guests can choose between single driver, driver and passenger, or snowmobile sled passenger options (pricing per person).
Then, you and your group (a maximum of 30 participants) will put your helmets on and set out into the breathtaking wilderness of Finnish Lapland! Your journey will take you across the frozen Lake Kilpisjärvi, then through a snow-capped birch forest to Koltavuoma, home to the border of Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Upon your arrival, you'll stop for a break and your guide will capture the moment by taking amazing photos (included in the tour price). In addition, you'll be treated to a hot drink and pastry, the perfect way to warm up in the Arctic winter! At the end of the tour, you'll head back to the original departure point in Kilpisjärvi with memories that will last a lifetime.

* If you are arriving to the meeting point from Norway, please be advised that there is a one-hour difference. Therefore, you will need to begin one hour in advance, as Norway and Finland have one-hour time difference.

- Please arrive at the meeting point in Kilpisjärvi 15 minutes before the departure time
- Transfer

- Meet your experienced guide

Activity requirements
Please be advised that a minimum of 4 participants is required in order to run this activity.
In addition, children under 135 cm (4'4") are seated on a sleigh pulled by the guide's snowmobile. However, children taller than 135 cm (4'4") can sit on a snowmobile as a passenger.
