Experience the enchantment of the Northern Lights on this 4-hour minibus chase from Kilpisjärvi in Enontekiö! Welcoming adventurers ages 10 and up.
Situated in northwestern Finland (Finnish Lapland), the village of Kilpisjärvi is located in the municipality of Enontekiö. This region is known for its Arctic climate and pristine wilderness as well as its proximity to the "most peaceful border in the world" of both Norway and Sweden. In addition, it is one of the best places in the world to view the incredible natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights with a 70% success rate.
Your adventure begins after being picked up at one of the listed meeting points (please specify when booking). Next, you'll head to the Kilpissafarit base where you will be greeted by your experienced guide. They will provide you and your group (a maximum of 24 participants) with winter gear, including thermal overalls, boots, wool socks, mittens, and a balaclava. After a safety briefing and itinerary overview, you'll set out into the wilderness in the comfort of a heated minibus to some of the best spots to see the Aurora Borealis.
Throughout the excursion, you'll make several stops to take amazing photos and savour the magical moment. Your guide is happy to share nighttime photography tips and tricks. Also, you'll be treated to hot drinks and pastries, the perfect way to warm up on an Arctic evening. At the end of the tour, you'll return to the original departure point in Kilpisjärvi, contented with your amazing evening in Finnish Lapland!

* If you are arriving to the meeting point from Norway, please be advised that there is a one-hour difference. Therefore, you will need to begin one hour in advance, as Norway and Finland have one-hour time difference.
