There, you'll meet your expert instructor, who will distribute the thermal overalls, snow boots, beanies, mittens and other winter apparel necessary to stay safe during the experience. You'll then be transported to the starting point of the adventure.
Once you're at the base camp and ready, it's time to go! First, your instructor will teach you exactly how to handle a husky team, and introduce you to the dogs that will pull your sled. Next, it's time to embark on your thrilling 5-kilometre dog sledding ride through the breathtaking Kuoksajärvi Forest. Keep in mind that the temperatures in the Arctic can go from 5 to -30 degrees Celsius, so bringing very small children on this activity might not be the best idea.
