Course of events
Please allow 4.5 hours in total for this activity.
- The meeting point can be reached by car, on foot or by bike. Free parking is available in Hossegor.
- Welcome & check-in (≈ 10 min): identity check and initial explanations.
- Introduction to the basics of freediving breathing and compensation + safety briefing ( ≈ 15 min).
- Apnea-specific stretching and breathing session (≈ 30 min).
- Equipment (≈ 20 min): distribution of equipment, adjustments, safety rules.
- Board the boat and sail off Capbreton (20 to 40 minutes depending on conditions).
- Course of the main activity (≈ 75 min): launch with the workshops (equipped freediving buoys), maximum 4 people per buoy. Immersion one by one alongside the freediving cable, accompanied by the instructor. Advice, areas for improvement and adaptations to individual exercises after each dive. Recovery time at the buoy while the other participants complete their freedives.
- Out of the water, back by boat to the port (≈ 30 min): rest time, observation, snack break, explanations.
- End of activity & debriefing (≈ 30 min): return to the meeting point, rinse and return equipment, shower, debriefing, sharing time, end of experience.

Activity requirements
You need to be able to swim at least 50m to take part in this activity, and be comfortable in the water in the open sea.
Minors must present written parental consent and a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to practicing freediving in order to participate in this activity.
A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.

This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
The activity may be postponed in the event of heavy swell or wind. In this case, we will contact you to reschedule or cancel the activity.
All basic freediving equipment is provided (wetsuit, fins, mask, snorkel, belt, weights). However, you can bring your own equipment if you have it.
