Water Hiking in the Verdon

Less technical than canyoning, water hiking does not require the use of ropes, and all obstacles can be bypassed. All you need to do is walk, swim, float and jump (for the more daring) in the waters of the canyon.

Haute Provence Outdoor offers a half-day activity (family route) in the Samson Gorge or a full-day activity (adventure route) on the Imbut. Under the watchful eye of your guide, who will accompany you throughout, you’ll receive information and instructions on the correct positioning to adopt, as well as on the importance of following a specific route so as not to damage the Verdon’s fragile ecosystem.
