The guide will coordinate the cruise ship departure and arrival times to suit the itinerary for the bike tour. They will pick you up directly from your cruise ship terminal to start the activity!

To begin, you’ll prepare the equipment, including a full-suspension electric AMT mountain bike (Bosch CX System) according to your body size, with regular or SPD pedals, as well as the necessary safety equipment (an all-mountain EC-approved cycling helmet and gloves). This activity is for expert mountain bikers only. Once you’re ready, the guide will lead you on the mountain biking adventure! You’ll start by cycling past Thira, the ancient capital city of Santorini.

The first stop on the tour is at Emporio, one of the oldest villages on the island. One of the main attractions in Emporio is the medieval Kasteli (castle), characterised by its narrow streets, labyrinthine alleys, and well-preserved old houses. You’ll explore the old village and visit the castle, before indulging in a delicious glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Next, you’ll cycle to the famous “Mamma Mia’’ village of Megalochori. Megalochori is a hidden gem in Santorini, with traditional architecture, cobblestone streets and an abundance of colourful bougainvillaeas. The surrounding countryside of Megalochori is dotted with vineyards.

You’ll visit a local winery in Megalochori and enjoy a traditional food and wine tasting at the Feggera Restaurant. Next, you’ll cycle to a viewpoint and take in a panoramic view of the iconic Caldera. You’ll also visit a small chapel nearby built inside a cave. After enjoying the breathtaking views, you’ll continue cycling along the southern coast of Santorini. The tour ends at the black sand beach of Perivolos, where you can recover from the ride with a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters. A fresh smoothie will also be served while you relax and take in the mesmerising surroundings. The guide will drop you back at your cruise ship port with plenty of time to catch the return ferry from Santorini.
