Discovery of Winter Activities at the Quebec Winter Carnival

The Quebec Winter Carnival is a not-to-be-missed winter festivity in Quebec, celebrating the winter season with a host of events, including the Gougoune & Doudoune event on the quays of the Espace Quatre Cents in Old Quebec. The site is open to all free of charge from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there is no need to have the Carnival Effigy. Still, you will need this daily pass if you want to try out the winter activities on offer: bouldering, rope climbing and via ferrata on the big climbing bear; snow tubing; ice canoe races on the snow; mini-games; etc.

This discovery of winter activities in Quebec City during the Gougoune & Doudoune event is open to the whole family, giving everyone the chance to have fun and spend some energy just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Old Quebec. On site, you will find a free exhibition on the Carnival, food and drink stands, and everything you need to spend a magical moment in the extraordinary atmosphere of the Quebec Winter Carnival!
