A 6-hour aquatic hike through the heart of the Daluis Gorges, starting from Guillaumes.
- Explore a spectacular wild canyon renowned for its striking red rock formations.
- Enjoy a safe and personalised experience in a small group limited to a maximum of 8 participants per guide.
- Experience a varied adventure combining river trekking, fun swimming sections and a scenic hike through the surrounding hills.
Course of events
Please allow 8 hours on site for the entire experience.
- Meet your guide at the Aire naturelle des Rouges Gorges campsite in Guillaumes, where he will check your personal equipment before you receive an introduction to the day's adventure (15 minutes).
- Collect your technical equipment, including a helmet and lifejacket, and attend a full safety briefing on river navigation (15 minutes).
- Walk a short distance to reach the starting point of the water trail in the gorge.
- Begin your 6-hour adventure through the canyon, combining river trekking, swimming and negotiating a variety of natural obstacles.
- Stop for a friendly picnic break at the exit of the canyon.
- Hike back with panoramic views over the valley and the Daluis Gorges.
- Return to the base camp in Guillaumes after leaving the river and packing away the equipment.
- Chat with your guide during a final debrief and conclude the experience.

You must be able to swim and be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Closed-toe shoes must be worn for this activity.
