The perfect way to discover winter camping in Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, this activity will teach you how to adapt to winter temperatures and how to cook in winter.

Course of events
- Meet at Place d'Armes (9am) or Gare du Palais (9.10am) in Quebec City
- Departure from Quebec City to Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier (45-minute to 1-hour drive)
- Toilets available at the Discovery Centre before departure
- Start of the first day of winter camping discovery with different themes (managing the cold, winter clothing, camping equipment, winter cooking, building a snow shelter, etc.).
- 3km walk on a flat trail to the bivouac
- Evening activities depending on the weather and the group: sky observation, chocolate and marshmallows around the fire, snowshoe hike, local stories, etc.
- Night under the stars in a tent - dry toilets at the bivouac depending on the site chosen
- After breakfast, free time to explore the national park on signposted routes
- Return to Quebec City by shuttle bus after lunch
- Expected arrival in Quebec City around 4 p.m.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Winter activities include transport from Old Quebec. When you book, a place is automatically reserved on the shuttle. Please contact the guide if you wish to make your own way to Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier (no discount).
Quatre Natures believes that there is no such thing as bad weather in winter. The activity always takes place. In the event of a situation where the temperature is extreme (-45 C⁰) or the amount of snow is not adequate, the Quatre Natures team will contact you directly.
