Practical information
Set off on a 3-hour guided snowshoe hike in Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier and enjoy Quebec's snow-covered landscapes by the river or in the heart of the forest!
Course of events
- Meet at Place d'Armes or Gare du Palais in Quebec City
- 9am: departure from Quebec City to Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier
- 10am: arrival at the national park and presentation of equipment and route at the reception pavilion
- 10.15 am: start of the guided walk, which lasts approximately 3 hours
- 2pm: end of the guided hike and lunch break in a heated tent
- 3:30 p.m.: Departure from the park and return to Quebec City around 5 p.m.
Special terms
Winter activities include transportation from Old Quebec. When you make your reservation, a seat is automatically reserved on the shuttle. Departure is at 9:00 a.m. from Place d'Armes or 9:05 a.m. from Gare du Palais. Please contact us if you wish to go to the Jacques-Cartier National Park by your own means (no discount).
Quatre Natures believes that there is no such thing as bad weather in winter. The activity always takes place. In the event of a situation where the temperature is extreme (-45 C⁰) or the amount of snow is not adequate, the Quatre Nature team will contact you directly.

Departing from Old Quebec, you'll take the road to Jacques Cartier National Park. Once there, your instructor will show you the equipment and help you get fitted. You will then set off on a 3-hour snowshoe trek in Quebec to discover one of the region's most famous national parks.
During your snowshoe hike in Jacques Cartier National Park, you'll be able to enjoy the incredible forest scenery, discover incredible views of Jacques Cartier Park and, if you're lucky, come across a few animals. At the end of your snowshoe hike in Quebec, a stop will be made in a heated tent so that you can enjoy lunch with a hot drink. Then you'll have to catch the shuttle bus that will drop you off in Quebec City's old town.

Le sol étant trop glacé, nous n'avons pas pu utiliser les raquettes, nous avons apprécié que l'activité ne soit pas annulée. Nous sommes partis en balade avec des bâtons et des crampons.

Promenade très agréable qui permet de profiter de jolies vues. Le tout accompagné d'une guide très sympa et professionnelle. Elle nous apprend beaucoup de choses sur la faune et la flore, avec des explications précises et des feuilles pour illustrer. Les pauses de dégustation de produit locaux sont les bienvenues également :) . Bref, un bon moment dans la forêt enneigée.
