Lasting approximately 1.5 hour, this guided cruise offers a unique perspective on the highlights of Québec’s capital from the river. As the vessel leaves the historic quay and glides across the ever-changing waters of the St. Lawrence, Cap Diamant, crowned by Québec’s Citadel, reveals itself from an entirely different angle.
Aboard the AML Louis Jolliet, you will sail east towards the historic Île d’Orléans and its picturesque rural landscapes. One of the highlights of the excursion is approaching Montmorency Falls, the highest waterfall in Québec, which plunges dramatically into the river. Throughout the journey, a certified guide from the Croisières AML team will share fascinating stories about the region’s culture and history, adding depth and insight to every moment on the water.
Designed to be accessible to everyone, this cruise takes place aboard a large and stable vessel featuring spacious outdoor terraces, ideal for enjoying the sunshine and taking in the scenery. For added comfort, both indoor and outdoor bistro and bar services are available, offering snacks and drinks throughout the cruise. Live commentary is provided in both French and English, while a downloadable audio guide app is available in eight languages for international visitors.
