Located in the heart of the worldwide famous ski resort Les Trois Vallèes, you can find a luxurious resort: Meribel. Founded in 1938 by British skier Peter Lindsey, Meribel is one of the oldest ski resorts in the area.

From December until the end of April you’ll find slopes for skiers of all levels. But it’s the perfect backcountry getaway for any off-piste skier, why? The trees! They’re all over the slopes, which not only make up one of the most gorgeous scenery in the region, but also a challenging descent!

As if this wasn’t exciting enough, the ski resort also has two of the best snowparks in Europe, the DC and Moon Park. In them you’ll find all types of jibs, from rails, funboxes, trees… you name it!

Even though it’s the perfect destination during the winter, you have exhilarating activities during the summer as well. From May to October you’ll find endless tracks for VTT & enduro, as well as picture-perfect trekking trails.

Some of the favourite activities during summer are canyoning and rafting. Yes, you read correctly, rafting!
There are so many gorges around the area with white-rapids that you can find almost every class of river. Moreover, you can practice these sports with children aged 8 and up!
